The Historical Society has an archive of materials including books, documents, photos, maps and ephemera that focus on local citizens, businesses and architecture.

Questions may be forwarded using the form below. All questions must be submitted in writing. If you are interested in making an appointment to visit our archives, please call 845-561-3790. Please do not leave questions at this number, it is to be used for appointment requests only.

We are happy to help you with your search for information on Newburgh and will perform a free search of your topic for the first 30 minutes. After that, we reserve the right to charge for time at $10 per half-hour plus the cost of copies and postage (members pay $5 per half-hour).

Our library is staffed by volunteers on a part-time basis. We will make every effort to answer your query in a timely manner. Your patience is appreciated.
